As if Apple products weren’t already interwoven in almost every aspect of people’s lives.
On March 25th 2019 Apple held a special event at the Steve Jobs Theater, Cupertino, California.
The event saw the announcement of an array of new and improved services.
Now Apple is attempting to move into gaming with Apple Arcade and finance with the Apple Credit Card.
March 2019 was a big month for the tech giant with the new launches announced and the release of Apple’s AirPods 2.
Here’s everything you need to know about Apple’s new announcements including News Plus, Credit Card, TV Plus and more.
Apple TV Plus
Apple TV Plus is an all-new streaming service created as an addition to Apple TV.
It is a separate app from Apple TV and pricing information is yet to be released.
Steven Spielberg, Jason Momoa, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon featured in the Apple event to tell the world of the projects they’ll feature in for Apple TV+.

Apple Arcade
According to Apple, Apple Arcade is a dream come true for game developers and players alike.
The launch date for Apple Arcade is Autumn 2019.
It is hailed by Ann Thai as: “The world’s first game subscription service for mobile, desktop and living room.”
With your subscription, you’ll have access to 100 new and exclusive games. The people of Apple have stated that there are no ads and no additional payments required to play, however, pricing information is not yet available.
Apple News Plus
Apple News Plus is a new subscription service that offers a personalised experience within the Apple News app.
The app allows you access to over 300 newspapers and magazines from The Wall Street Journal to The New Yorker to Rolling Stone Magazine and more.
The Apple News service is available right now, costs $10 per month and the first month of your subscription comes free.
A subscription can be used by all the family and Apple have stated they don’t track your personal data.
Apple Card
Apple crept into the finance world with Apple Pay in 2014.
And by the end of 2019, mobile payment service Apple Pay will be available in more than 40 countries across the world.
However, Apple has now taken things one step further and launched its very own credit card.
The Apple Card claims to make using a credit card more transparent and easy. Whereas ordinary credit card transactions show on your statement in a pretty cryptic format, Apple Card automatically organises and totals your purchases and you can see specifically where you’ve spent your money using Apple Maps.
Apple News+ lets you read your favorite magazines, online or offline—and discover new titles too.

Apple TV app
Another announcement made at the event was that the new Apple TV app is coming this May.
The app aims to make it much easier to access all of your favourite things to watch, putting them all in one place.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said: “Our vision for Apple TV app is to bring together your favourite shows, movies, sports and news and make them available on all of your devices.”
